PositionSummary:
The Fashion Buyer is responsible for partnering withmanagement to create and execute the Yearly Open to Buy for FFG Off PriceChannel and implement the merchandising strategy across all Points Of Sales(Factory outlet Department Stores, Factory Outlet E-shop, Free StandingOutlets) that will lead to the targeted gross profit along with maintaining thedesired stock level.
Responsibilities
· Preparing theopen-to-buy (OTB) budget for Off Price Channel Management, identifying,selecting and purchasing the appropriate product ranges
· Handling existingconcessions agreements and trying to achieve the highest sell out from the cooperation’s
· Liaising with existingsuppliers; negotiate contracts to improve buying and payment terms in a seasonbasis
· Sourcing and buildingrelationships with new suppliers’
· Producing Weekly andmonthly reports to management to control sales, gross profit and stock levels
· Safeguard gross profitthrough timely deliveries, product re-orders and product swaps
· Implement offer / discount/ clearance strategies to achieve targeted Inventory level
· Work closely with Store& Outlet managers to ensure all pricing and placement strategies are realizedefficient and timely
· Work closely with VisualMerchandisers team to ensure efficient in store displays, promoting of key line& high margin items
· Acting as acommunication liaison among suppliers and internal departments (Retailoperations, Supply Chain, IT, Finance)
Qualifications
· Bachelor's degree in Business/ Finance / Engineering or related field
· Minimum of 6 years workingexperience in retail fashion buying
· Demonstrated leadershipand management experience
· Strong analyticskills
· Motivation to exceed plan
· Financial analysiscapability
· Ability to manage directreports and drive results through others
· Strong written andverbal communication skills
· Strong Excel Skills
