Mr. Samios holds a Master's degree in Banking and Financial Risk Management from Nord XIII University in Paris. He also holds a degree in Business Administration, specializing in Accounting from the Athens University of Economics and Business.
Dr. Panayotis Alexakis is a Professor of Managerial Economics and Markets at the Department of Economics, of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. He has been a scholar of the "Alexander S. Onassis" Public Benefit Foundation. He has also taught at the Department of Business Administration of the University of the Aegean, at the Economic University of Athens, at the Hellenic and Cypriot Open Universities, and in business education programs.
During his career, he has also dealt with issues relating to the cooperation between universities and enterprises. He has also worked as a consultant or executive in commercial entities.
He has been chairman and CEO at the Athens Derivatives Exchange and the Athens Stock Exchange.
He has participated in scientific conferences with papers and has published articles in scientific journals. Currently, he serves as the scientific director of the Master’s Program, with specialization in Internal Audit, and also as the Director of the Center for Financial Studies in the Department of Economics of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.
Mr. Periklis Dontas carries extended experience for more than 32 years in senior positions in Private Banking and Insurance Sector in Greece and abroad. He has worked as Business Consultant in KPMG Advisors S.A. specialized in Risk Management Consulting and Business Development.
He has been member of the Board of Directors and Deputy CEO in EFG Eurobank S.A, in Poland. In addition, he has served as Vice President and Head of Bancassurance in AIG Life, one of the leading Insurance companies worldwide, and held the position of the General Manager of ING Bank NV. for several years.
He is currently serving as a Board member representative of HFSF in Piraeus Bank and an Audit Committee Member in Piraeus Bank SA. He holds an MSc in Economics from Essex University, UK.
Mr. Georgios Ioannidis before joining the BoD of Folli Follie he was CEO and Management Consultant of Lifecell Ventures a subsidiary of Turkcell.
Before this, he has been an ITC consultant in Turkey, Greece, Bosnia, and FYR of Macedonia. In Turkey, he was Executive Board Member and Management Consultant of Unisystems Turkey.
In the last 25 years, Mr. Ioannidis has been active as a Chairman of BoD, Board Member, CEO, and CTO in Telecom Companies in the Balkans and Azerbaijan.
Mr. Ioannidis was born and raised in Istanbul. He got his BSc in Electrical Engineering from Bogazici University and his MSc from UMass at Lowell. He is fluent in three languages (English, Greek, and Turkish) and has working abilities with French, Azeri, and Romanian.
Mr. George Momferratos is a seasoned Corporate Finance professional and has held various executive roles over 27 years in New York (with Mobil Oil and Royal Cruise Lines) and Athens (with Egnatia Bank, Factoring Hellas, and the National Bank of Greece).
Before founding the private alternative investment advisory firm, Diorasis International SA, he was a partner with Ernst & Young, heading the Transaction Advisory Services Teams across Central and Southeastern Europe between 2002 and 2012.
George holds a BSc degree from Leicester University, and an MSc from the London School of Economics.
Mr. Ilias Pentazos is an economist, with many years of experience in management. He has worked for many years abroad as high-level manager in the European Commission, for the Permanent Representation of Greece to the European Union, in the World Trade Organization and for the Investment Bank Morgan Stanley.
He has served as a counselor/expert in the Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Development and Ministry of Defense. He also served as General Secretary of the Ministry of Finance and as President of the Public Debt Management Agency.
Dr. George Siganidis has more than 25 years of experience in advising Greek and multinational corporations on a wide array of corporate and commercial matters, be it contentious or advisory. He focuses on corporate and commercial law, securities, IT and telecoms law, including dispute resolution. He has been engaged in the structuring and implementation of numerous M&A’s and other corporate restructurings, including drafting and negotiating share purchase and shareholders’ agreements, as well as take-over bids. His dispute resolution experience concentrates in corporate, securities and insolvency law disputes and arbitration, while he has also handled numerous public procurement litigation cases in the IT sector.
George Siganidis was a German Academic Exchange Scholar (DAAD) during the time of his doctoral dissertation in Tuebingen/Germany (1992 through 1996). From February 2020 to July 2020 he participated in the legislative committee of the Greek Ministry of Development under the lead of Prof. Evanghelos Perakis for the «Study and suggestion of the necessary legislative proposals towards the revamping of the legislative framework of enterprises and of the corporate law in general”. In the years 2000 - 2001 he participated in the Legislative Committee for the Greek Corporate Governance Bill. In the year 2003 he prepared for the Government of Cyprus the first draft of a bill on the reorganization and winding up of insurance undertakings.
George Siganidis is admitted before the Supreme Court and works in Greek, German and English. He is consistently recognized as Notable Practitioner by the IFLR 1000.
