Mr. Costa presented a collection that evoked a minimal yet sensuous feeling, inspired by the works of English artist and sculptor Barbara Hepworth. The play between the masculine and the feminine that began with Mr. Costa’s spring offering is reinterpreted in oversized silhouettes and curved hourglass shapes with an emphasis on tailoring. Outerwear is key, with standout pieces including printed leather shearling and patent leather duffle coats.
The collection’s warmth and softness is expressed in an array of lightweight cashmeres and silk viscose fabrics, and is grounded by substantial leathers, shearlings and wool.
A palette of caramel, grey mélange, black and cognac is complemented by a natural photographic leopard print. Looks were completed with sneakers and pumps in black or white, soft leather clutches and handbags in black or camel, and sculptural jewelry pieces that Mr. Costa collaborated with artist David Croland to create.
