Outside, the air is saturated with gas, atmospheric metals and various particles, some of which may emphasize to the harmful effects of UV rays on the skin. Inside our offices and apartments, we should not feel any more protected. Nowadays we are aware that indoor air may be up to ten times more polluted than outdoor air and that it is not safe from visible light and UVA rays which pass through windows. And we spend 90% of our time indoors, on average. In addition, a fast-paced, ‘ultra-connected’ lifestyle, running here, there and everywhere, ends in stress and fatigue.

Faced with all of this, how does the skin react? It suffers from the negative impact of modern living, which, if we are not careful, can lead to premature ageing more quickly than we realise. The complexion becomes dull and blemished. Fine lines set in. The skin loses its freshness prematurely. The ageing process accelerates.
