FF Group: received an award at the 6th “Together for children” award ceremony

FF Group received an award at the 6th “Together for children” award ceremony for its significant contribution in support of the Association’s efforts. The ceremony took place on Wednesday the 24th of January at Benaki Museum.

The Association held its award ceremony for the sixth consecutive year, recognizing the devotion of people and corporations to social responsibility. FF Group, in the framework of its corporate social responsibility program, was honored with another award for its charitable initiatives.

In December 2017, the Group organized a Christmas charity bazaar, offering brand-name pieces at remarkably low prices, the proceeds of which were donated in support of the “Together for Children” Association.

Specifically, the Group supports the annual operational needs of both the helpline 11525 and the Consulting Center of the Association that have helped over 7.000 children in the past year.

The award was received by Mrs. Mariza Koutsolioutsou, FF Group’s Global Corporate Affairs Officer, who stated: “We are honored to be a part of this great celebration of volunteering and charity work; and congratulations to the Association for their exceptional efforts to help those in need. We are particularly proud of this award that recognizes the Group’s Corporate Social Responsibility work as well as our employees’ contribution”.

“Together for children” is a non-profit organization that offers every form of assistance to children and young people irrespective of race, religion and political conviction,  supporting more than 30.000 children, on an annual basis, including more than 10.000 direct children beneficiaries, who face poverty and social exclusion, domestic violence, chronic diseases, mental or physical disabilities and the sickness or death of an immediate family member. In 2016 the Association was awarded with the Medal of the Academy of Athens for its charitable contribution to society.
