The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) which comes into force from May 25th, 2018, is a regulation adopted by the European Parliament and requires businesses to protect the personal data and privacy of EU citizens for transactions that occur within EU member states. Non-compliance with the new regulation assumes significant penalties and companies are being preparing their internal procedures and systems to meet the standards of the EU directive.
FF Group operates in many EU countries and as it is always in compliance with new regulation has already commenced the implementation of the GDPR Project with new policies and procedures. The GDPR Compliance Project will focus on the following areas: a) Data and IT Assessment, b) Gap analysis and remediation plan and c) DPO (Data Protection Officer) services and ongoing support. We are confident that all the employees of FF Group who participate in this regional project will contribute to its successful completion within the adopted timeframe.
